Tournaments Fortnite: LAN Tournament

Welcome to Black Ice Fortnite monthly event!

Things to know before you go: Bring Your Own Controller but will have PC setups.   

Time: 12 PM – 7 PM 

Casual gameplay/Registration: 12 PM – 2 PM   

Tournament starts: 2 PM – 7 PM       

Main game is featured: Fortnite (PC)       

Cost to register:   

Venue cost: 10$   

Pot cost: 10$

Fortnite tournament settings:  

Fortnite will be scored using an elimination and position-based formula derived from the official tournament rules and simplified for ease of use      

1st place 100 points  

2nd place 90 points  

3rd place 80 points  

4th place 70 points  

5th place 60 points  

6th place 50 points  

7th place 40 points  

8th place 30 points  

9th place 20 points  

10th place 10 points      

Each elimination + 10 points    

The points will be scored and totaled over a number of consecutive games.       

Everyone has the right to be treated with respect, even in the face of unfavorable rulings. Anyone caught abusing any person at the event may, at the discretion of event organizers, be removed from their tournament, or in extreme cases, the event itself.   The use of scripts is not allowed. This tourney will be capped at 20 participants.   

The use of third-party cheats or hacks to gain an unfair advantage is strictly not allowed.   Players and/or teams found to be using hacks or cheats will be disqualified from the competition   Using exploits to gain an unfair advantage is not allowed. Players found to be using exploits will be disqualified.     

Parking:   Parking is all around, Street, building, and lot parking. FREE! If you are unsure feel free to ask us when you arrive, we will help you.      

Live Stream:   The tournament will be streamed on our Black Ice Twitch channel:   Twitch.tv/blackiceclub       

Any spectators are FREE. If you would like to play other games available in the space, there will be a $15 fee. Please contact the staff at Black Ice eSports for access.
